STEP1:
On your Dashboard, click on the Design Your Website button
The following will be displayed:
STEP2: Customize the theme by changing any of the theme accents in order to create the perfect wedding website
The following is a description of what each of the items / fields means.
THEME TITLE: This is the title of your theme
WEBSITE LAYOUT: This refers to the orientation and positioning of your website. It is the same as the landscape and portrait orientation. Click on the drop-down as shown below.
The choice of website layout also affects the arrangement of the menu items. For example:
Choosing the Wide screen option will result in the following changes
BACKGROUND PATTERNS: The background patterns chosen will be added to your Wedding Website Background. Click on the drop-down arrow and you should see a screen similar to the one below:
**Note: These are built-in patterns and cannot be edited nor customized
BUILT-IN BACKGROUND IMAGES: The background images chosen will be added to your Wedding Website Background. Click on the drop-down menu in order to choose the background:
BACKGROUND-IMAGE POSITION: Here you can specify the positioning of your background image. Click on the drop-down next to the background image name and a screenshot similar to the following will be displayed:
Center: This will align the image to a position of center.
Fill: This will stretch the image to occupy the whole space of your Wedding Website.
HEADER AND FOOTER PATTERNS:
These are applied to your headers and footers. Click on the drop-down item and the following will be displayed:
HEADER ICON: The Heading icon chosen will be added to your website. This will be added in the middle of your header section. Click on the drop-down and a list of different built-in header icons will be displayed.
FOREGROUND BORDERS: Click on the drop-down and a list of the different types of foreground borders will be displayed:
CONTENT POSITION: Click on the drop down menu in order to choose whether the information on the page should be aligned left, right or centered.
DISPLAY MENU ITEM ICONS: This tick box will determine if the menu icons are shown or not
WEDDING THEME ANIMATIONS: Click on the drop down menu in order to choose which animation to use for your website. **Please note that this animation does not show on a mobile.
FOREGROUND OPACITY: This option changes the opacity of the foreground
CUSTOM BACKGROUND IMAGE: Here you can upload your own picture. You can even upload a gif as a background
FONTS:
Under the fonts tab you can change the size and fonts of headings on the website
CONTENT FONT: Here you can specify the type of font to be used. For example, Times New Roman, Arial, etc. Click on the drop-down arrow and the following will be displayed.
Whichever font option is selected will be used through out your site.
HEADING FONT: This is used to specify the type of font for the header.
SUB WEDDING FONT: This is used to specify the type of font for the sub header.
WEDDING DATE FONT: This is used to specify the type of font for the wedding date.
COLORS:
Under the color tab you can change the colors of the website
- The colour of the text for the bride and groom names, the date below it and the footer text displaying the amount of weeks or months before the wedding date is dependent on the foreground colour selected. For example, choosing a foreground colour with a black colour will change the colours of the above mentioned (bride and groom names, the date below it and the footer text displaying the amount of weeks or months before the wedding date) to a lighter colour and vice versa.
2. To edit the colour of the header you should edit the colour of the Heading and Background Pattern Colour.
