In this Solution Article, we will show you how the Vetting process works, when a Student Number is generated.

STUDENT STATUSES EXPLAINED

  • New - This is an auto generated status after a student has been created.
  • Vetting - Examination of student documents, before a decision is made.
  • Application Rejected  - If a student application has been rejected.
  • Enrolled -  When the student has been enrolled.
  • Cancelled - If a student cancels their application or the capturer finds a valid reason to cancel a students application.
  • Studies Complete - After a student completes/ graduates the course.

  • Administrators and Head office Supervisors can see the "Submit" and "Approve Student" buttons.
  • Before you can start processing a Student, you need to press the "Submit" button to start Vetting.

  • The Student needs an Enrollment (course) before you can click the "Submit" button.
  • The "Submit" button will remain disabled until an enrollment is added to the student.

  • When the following Statuses have been completed, you will need to click on the "Approve Student" button.
  • Before a student can be Approved he has to meet some Requirements.

  • Requirements for approving a student:
    • The student needs a Signed Full Student Pack,
    • and also Verified Proof of ID.
    • The student has to be between ages 17 and 28.
    • The latest student Sub Type should Not be Vetting Completed.

    • The student also needs to be Enrolled in a course like the "Submit" button.
  • After these requirements are met you can click on "Approve Student"

  • Documents that need further approval moving forward:

  • When a document is Verified, it will automatically be ticked. Same with the Student Payment.

  • Once the student has been Approved, the system will generate a Student Number (which will be displayed on the student).
