Introduction
The Task Manager module provides the ability to translate a business process into a system process flow which will guide the users through the specific business process step-by-step. Automating this business process allows for certain steps to be auto completed by the system and provides traceability and a full audit trail.
E.g. Creating a debt review application consist of a number of steps that needs to followed to complete the application according to the firm's business processes.
How to enable Task Manager
Click on the Administration Menu, select Company and then select Company List
On the Main tab click on the edit icon of the applicable company
On the Company tab, select sub tab Branches
Click on the edit icon of the branch for which you would like to setup the task manager process
Enable the Task Manager function on the branch if not yet active, by ticking the check box
Note that a number of default process flows and a work pool will exist on activation the function. These can easily be updated or replaced if needed.
The following preferences can be setup per branch:
Preference descriptions:
Notify assignee if tasks are overdue by 1 business day | This preference will send an email notification to the user currently assigned to the task, when the due date is 1 business day in the past |
Notify user if tasks are overdue by 2 business days | This preference will send an email notification to the email address listed in the "Email to notify if tasks are overdue by 2 business days" field, when the due date is 2 business day in the past |
Notify user if tasks are overdue by 5 business days | This preference will send an email notification to the email address listed in the "Email to notify if tasks are overdue by 2 business days" field, when the due date is 5 business day in the past |
Click on the Save button after updating the preferences, before continuing.
